Notes: Chip came to the Lee County Va Shelter on bite hold. I do not know the circumstances but there were multiple roaming dogs. Other dogs were picked up too. Chip is an Elkhound mix, 6-7 months and 30-35 lbs. A couple of us have been working with him since his release from the bite hold. Chip is scared yet wants companionship. We have not leashed him yet but that is next step. He has shown food aggression with other dogs but not people. Rescues or interested adopters can text 276.202.1198.

• Adopters must sign a sterilization agreement to have the adopted pet spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption.
